those things are ugly anyway, if my truck comes with them, you can have them lol
Agree. On the reveal night 4+ years ago I loved everything about the looks of the Cybertruck except the wheel covers and proprietary tires. That hasn't changed. The good news is they're being redesigned and I'm sure there'll be many aftermarket alternatives.

I bought the last set that was "available" on Amazon of the plastic caps and center cover. Just waiting for my vin, may have covers by then, but I like it without actually.

this sounds a bit like nightmare you can’t make up. I get they are only the finish wheel hubs, but seems insane.
Nightmare? Seriously? In what reality does waiting a few weeks for replacement wheel covers constitute a nightmare?

Good riddance.. didn’t like them anyway! The difference in range wouldn’t matter to me at all!
The wheels seem pretty flat-surfaced anyway, so I doubt there's a whole lot of gain in efficiency when using the covers.

+1 - that was the only sticking point for me. I was telling myself how could they design such an awesome truck but make an ugly wheel. I’m sure there were others who thought the opposite and felt everything looks ugly except the wheels

Watching the video, has anyone commented on the fact it looks like the rim has chips / damage at the top of each spoke? Is that from the aero covers? I'm kind of shocked he didn't mention that at all, or at least show if it's dirty vs chipped.

Yep just took my cover off and have the same marks. Not dirt. Def wear.
