Based on my high-tech measuring technique it looks like the turning radius (from center of vehicle) is about 3.5 cybertrucks which comes to about 24 feet. Same as the Lightning. A bit disappointing given the added cost/complexity of rear wheel steer. I hope it wasn't enabled during this video. Turning radius is one of the key features I am looking at for my purchase decision.

I don’t think my lightning can make that U-turn without going on the shoulder. I hate unnecessary complications but I would take that feature if it was an option.

Nobody seems to be discussing the glass on the roof. You cannot see through it at all. I believe it is a solar roof, which I would prefer versus the tinted glass. Even with the tinted glass, I wouldn’t want the sun beating on me all day long when driving.

Thoughts?

I think it’s just tinted.

Not solar, but electrochromatic

This would surprise me a lot. Maybe PLD glass but I don't think we're getting electrochromic glass. Just don't think the tech is there yet. Maybe in 5 years.

Source: my job.
thanks for tipping me to that distinction, as I’d used the wrong word inaccurately for some time

appears I meant PLD - or at least, I meant whatever is in the eg Taycan

This is almost certainly PLD (Polymer-dispersed Liquid-crystal Device) as it appears to be binary and opaque (since the light is not absorbed, just dispersed). Porsche has added some level of adjust-ability to it by partitioning the glass, allowing users to select their between three preferences, none, full and some in between state. Electrochromics will darken to a near infinite number between completely clear and completely dark (well, 99.999% light transmission).

Actually, I'm pretty sure some mercedes have electrochromatic glass

Agreed.
When checking the recent video of the visit by Texas Senator John Cornyn, l confirmed my suspicions of a solar roof over both front and rear seats. If it's NOT, then some DUCK this way comes(!)
It's BLOODY DARK in the back seat, just how Aussies prefer on a Hot Summer Arvo.
Imagine 5 to 10 miles of charge....SOLD
