I didn't see this yesterday. Seems okay, curious about the weight it can handle. Looks like it can be mounted on any of the points so that's cool. Hope it's as easy as the rivian one

Seems to be the same rack accessory we’ve elsewhere seen installed instead over the cab

each piece of which seems to have a telescoping width adjustment, which seems to mean the ‘accessory’ is a single cross bar (perhaps sold in pairs) that can be width-adjusted to fit on any of the 4 mounting locations

so a person could place a max of 4 of these on the truck (two over cab, two over bed)

It's width adjustable because of the tesla tolerances.

I personally would prefer a much better fitment of the rack bars without the adjustable crossbars just for aesthetics and strength. I am not sure what the heck this would fit at minimal adjustment unless the telescopic minimum is just for smaller storage size, perhaps would fit into the frunk? If at minimum size and it does not fit into the frunk then I am not sure I would be interested at all for the CT. Nice idea but could use some refinement.

There is also the lockable storage in the bed they could fit in, right?

If those could handle 200lbs. I think that would work very well for our Ebikes. Have a bike rack with trays for the tires. Ride up the tailgate ramp and then wheelie them onto the trays. Way better than hanging the weight behind the back bumper on a trailer hitch.

It would be better it was not adjustable(and aero) bars on the racks. They would be stronger, and look more finished. Once they have exact specs, I would imagine that will happen.

Edit: Actually triangular bars would be awesome.

It will interesting to see how practical that angle of roof rack turns out to be and how close they are ... although I think there are some mounting points lower down.

Rivian locking crossbars (url) are pretty slick in the videos as they are 'universal' and move from the cab to the bed.

I wonder if they can also be installed length wise (front to back along each side).

Of course but then you would need some tide downs or some other mount inside the bed to keep them from rolling and tumbling around in the bed when not in use. The frunk being more confined would secure them a bit better without additional hardware.

Question: for anyone that has hauled a paddle board, surf board, etc. Shouldn't the rear rack be a little taller?
