Cybertruck Cargo Divider fitment issue

I bought the Tesla Cybertruck Cargo Divider but it does not fit correctly in the middle 1/3rd of the bed. It has small feet on the bottom that do not line up with the groves in the bed of the truck. This prevents you from inserting the top into the rail system that holds it in. Anther owner just posted a video on youtube of the problem. I can't decide if I will try to grind the foot down so it will fit or if I will just return it.

The vault divider is the closest thing I have to my Cybertruck so reports of it not fitting are troubling. I have big plans for using it. Does it fit in the front and rear 1/3rd’s of the bed?

Any chance of getting a measurement from the ground to the tailgate when it is open in the ENTRY ride mode?

Does anyone else have a divider that the latch does NOT sit flush? no matter what I do mine has a gap and not like the one in the video above or the website.

Try pulling the divider out of the truck and seeing if you can get the handle to sit flush, maybe it is the way it fits in the bed, that way you can determine if it is the divider latch that is the problem or if it is a fitment problem in the bed.

I tried mine and it's similar to yours: doesn't work in the middle half of the truck bed. Really hoping there's something to adjust so it can be put right in front of where the under storage bin is so it can still be used.

I had one that worked well in the third closest to the tailgate (which is good for the intended use probably), but didn't align easily towards the third nearest to cab.

Having it right in front of the under bed storage would be ideal for most people I would imagine. It's about as far forward as you can lean in to get to easily, allows minimum sliding around of items, and still allows use of the under bed storage.

It doesn’t look like modifying the feet would even work. I think the entire aluminum bottom is resting on the bed.

Anyone try and bend the connection down?

I had to cut notches for the bed ridges. The issue is the middle of the bed. The L track and the rubber feet are perfectly positioned. One guy before me cut the entire bottom of his divider which gave me the idea to do this. I did it this way to retain some structure. Took me hours to file the edges smooth after cutting but it works perfect now.

I'm hopeful they will fix the issue but people got revised dividers that didn't fix this, so I'm expecting the second revision will take a while. I wanted to make use of it in the meantime.

Wow. Nice job! What a pain in the ass though!

I may just try and bed down the connectors. I think if they ship a new one it will do the same thing. The bed just must be raised in the middle.

The connectors and the feet are at the correct position though. It's the bottom aluminum bit that's too close to the bottom of the feet. If you try to fix it another way it won't fit securely
