All Foundation Series Cybertrucks have lifetime FSD. No other Cybertrucks came bundled with lifetime FSD, it was an additional charge either via the few Cyberbeast Luxe packages sold (+$15,000 package) or via outright FSD purchase of $7,000-$8,000. Many non-Foundation buyers opted out of FSD since they figured they could add it later or buy a monthly subscription (if they wanted it at all). Now you can't even by a new Cybertruck with lifetime FSD!

That, in my opinion, is what sets the Foundation Series apart, they all have lifetime FSD (and 8 years of premium connectivity). With how good FSD has become since it was first released on the Cybertruck, that's a pretty big deal. But no, it won't make you "cool".
Correct. But driving a Cybertruck period will make you kind of cool.

Having FSD for the previous $8K value is great, but it will take me ~7 years to break even, not the best deal but plan on doing in ;-)

Correction: We have lifetime Premium Connectivity on our Foundation Series Cybertrucks.

That's assuming the monthly price stays at 100 bucks - this is half the price of what it was previously just a short time ago. For what it offers though, 200 a month is not a bad price, but much more marketable at current price.

Eh? I specifically avoided the foundation series. First year or two of new models are terrible, especially Tesla's.
This is why I waited for a '25. Still got the early adopter rivet and questionable PCS but I'm happy with it.

I mean people are pumped to get a24 Cybertruck? Whys the founders series so special? Am I not as cool if I get a second hand founders series?
The foundation series has nothing but problems from what ive seen online and I dont think everyone wants one. Maybe for the fsd that it comes with but I would never buy the foundation series, I bought my 2025 cybertruck and would never replace it. I have 17k miles on it with no problems and build quality is just about perfect maybe I'm one of the lucky ones.

My FSCTB is probably the best vehicle I have ever owned and I have owned well over 30+ cars in the last 35 years. Minus my ’93 Honda Accord. I tried to kill that car and it wouldn’t die. Eventually I had to sell it because of the super high mileage. Anyway, getting back to my FSCTB. I got it not because it was a FS. I just wanted the damn thing and didn’t want to wait. The things it came with was an added bonus, but I would’ve still got it if it didn’t have them. It would’ve been nice if it came with lifetime supercharging, but what I got in exchange I’m fine with it - Lifetime FSD and Premium Connectivity.

On top of the other Foundation perks, the Foundation came with 340 miles of range, 325 for the non-… (dual motor, core wheels)

I have a FSAWD and have no where near the problems others have had - only major thing has been the PCS and secondary being the missing vault slat. I didn't have any cant rail issues, or panel misalignments, mines been good to me.

But that doesn’t set the foundation series apart when buying a used foundation series, like you said there was a time when you could buy FSD lifetime for non-foundation series trucks. Those would be just as “set apart “ as the foundation series.
A used foundation is just as “cool” as a used CT with lifetime FSD. The only street cred you get from a FS is if you are an original owner, and can say, “I bought the FS new”

I should add, buying a vehicle, any vehicle, is not about being "cool". You will be exactly the same person you were before you bought it. Not understanding this leads towards unhappiness in life.

Don't get me wrong, the Cybertruck has improved the quality of my life in more ways than any vehicle has a right to, but it hasn't made me any more or less "cool" or changed who I am.
it’s good to hear the wisdom of an old Iron Butt rider that only comes with age……😂

That is because you are secure and accomplished like this guy

For people haven't done anything of merit yet, where would the confidence come from?
