C'mon! Give me my CT with all his scratches and I will personalize it with my own. But now.

Curiosity keying has been my concern too.
If someone keys their car, it’s more likely they are just an asshole.

Now if they took out a sledge hammer and smashed the side of your truck… is that curiosity sledging? Hammering for science on a stranger’s truck?

Yes, I have had the same thought. Never announce your product is scratch proof, the morons will take it as a challenge....
I thought that or idiot hit it with a mallet to see if dents.

We should start an urban legend about how someone decided to test if a random Cybertruck was actually bulletproof, and ended up being killed by the ricochet. Maybe it will be a deterrent...?

It seems like you could do some interesting designs with masking and a sand blaster.

Mask off the shape with tape then lightly sand blast the surface where you want the design to be. It would be like a soft silver on a hard silver sort of design.

"Remember, I'm going to do everything to your car that you do my CT...."
Better:

"Remember, I'm going to do everything to your car that you do my CT...., in the interest of science!"

i do not know what sort of enemies you guys have made in life or what dark part of the World you live in with such fear, but all of this fear of and beating up key scratching vandals, goes right over my head.

You've clearly never owned an EV in a very right-minded city. I envy you.

Every time this thread pops up to the top of the page I glance down and read:

“This may be Cybertruck's 2B stainless steel. Scratch and sniff test.”

I guess I’m a product of my upbringing.
