EDIT TO ADD:

Have bolted up a compare (in heat map) of interior dimensions:

As suspected (by some) for a while, interior dimensions come in nearest to a Chevy Avalanche, but with width at hips (determining seat width) being comparable to a Toyota Tacoma - which explains the lack of 6th seat, but also portends a rather narrow rear seat that is "5 passengers" in name along the lines of a Tacoma (though CT's better shoulder width will help a touch).

Next is a heat map that essentially demonstrates the design thesis of the Cybertruck:

  • *nearly* full-sized BEV truck cargo area,
  • *nearly* mid-sized footprint/agility (but an ~F150 wheelbase, mitigated by 4WS)
  • somewhat *better* than mid-sized interior volume, at least in terms of rear seat legroom, but basically mid-sized seat width

That tow rating is disappointing....it matches the Rivian R1T dual motor and is less than the Silverado work truck.

I'm a little disappointed by the bed length, but I think we've known this for a while now. Also a little disappointed by the rear seat width that I use as a bed for quick trip bow (1 or 2 nights) hunting ventures. But IF they deliver on price and range, I can live with everything posted in this "leak".
In what way is disappointing?
That size bed is normal for a crew cab. The Lightning has a smaller bed.

I guess the moral of the story is that if you design an EV truck to look just like an ICE truck, you have a lot of space space left over when you don't install an gas engine.
I would have liked to have seen the frunk have at least some 120V outlets but then again the frunk on the CT really isn't usefull at 15 inches deep (can't even get a Yeti in there) so I would have been fine with no frunk at all if they could put more storage inside.

So if this is true, then the CT falls in the "Best between worlds" vehicle instead of the " Best of both worlds".

I really think/hope it will outshine all others on technology... and this will set it apart... this is my hope!

I think a spare will be an option

And i know it will stored laying in the bed. There’s no other spot.

following-up on my comment earlier:

think of it this way:

the Rivian bed compartment, that holds a 34” spare (1” smaller than CT), is 7.1ft3

that’s the size of the CT’s Frunk volume

the CT’s bed storage compartment is surely 1/2 that size

a full sized spare won’t fit there, or anywhere else, other than laying in the bed
yes, but that’s assuming the spare is a full sized spare. It could very well be a space saver spare.

EDIT TO CLARIFY: TFL says this photo appears to have a label saying 2kW

but on further consideration, that’s no sensible. As would be “12kW”

What makes more sense is a label near the plug that says “120v” (and at bottom likely “120/220c”)

I’m not a math major, but there looks to be THREE outlets here.

New guy here, first post. I’ve owned a Toyota T100 which was “not quite full-size” and learned that unique dimensions can add value - that truck had a real bed and load capacity, plus a usefully large interior and conveniently smaller exterior dimensions. And it didn’t sell well :). I now own a 5’ bed double cab Tacoma which is just a tad too small though nice in town and on trails. And I’ve driven an R1T which was quite roomy in the cab, but as nice as the gear tunnel was it didn’t make up for having a bed even shorter than the Taco. Based on these numbers I think the CT may be just right. Looking forward to the official specs an in particular a real test to check out the off-road chops.
