I think this appeals to folks that need a rack, kayakers, painters etc. But what power options will be offered? Power outlets, compressor etc.

I want a solar vault and a winch. And a Mr. Coffee for when I watch radar.

From overhead, the ‘table’ on top of the sails is V-shaped, narrowest at the cab peak, and widening towards the tailgate

and from the side, the peak to the tailgate has a slight curvature

easy *enough* to address, but I wouldn’t load up on straight stock

I wouldn't build my rack out of straight stock anyway. I'd make it out of flat pieces of aluminum, cut to match the CT profile with bent tabs for mounting. It's long enough to have to make it out of at least two pieces bolted together with T-slotted extruded aluminum rails. Check out Prinsu racks.

Well, after years of asking everyone and anyone about a lumber rack, I finally have a definitive answer, THANK YOU. I guess I shouldn't have worried, that is perfect. I can't wait to pull into my lumber yard with this and tell them to stack a pallet of plywood on top. LOL Now, let's see the bad ass cyberwinch!

Given the interplay between LED flicker rates and CCD cycle rates, It could look completely uniform and bright to the human eye, but look like shit on a digital sensor...

Definitely possible, but in the video,
the sensor artifacts are obvious in all the other lights - with this one section being the exception, and across multiple angles as the ct sweeps in front of the camera

though the annoying “journalist” video of the truck stationary appears otherwise

After seeing a rack like that it really makes a lot of us want to lay some pipe.

Ya, I thought about that, but the forklift driver can just tip the load and pull the forks out. Most lumber racks are like that. Only the free standing forward and rear lumber racks allow a flat drop, but those types of racks are not as strong. This rack seems like it can handle a huge load.

Not sure about shovels… but Musk is right up against the truck and the camera is about head height.

Sure looks like the truck is spot on 6 foot even at the peak. Doesn’t even look like the suspension is at the lowest setting either.

Yes, we have some Centurions that work quite well. Need more tools in stainless, though.

You can take racks off. Like, I just got back from camping yesterday and unloaded today, and tomorrow I'll take the rack off and put the covers back into the hatch.

This fit on my Mazda 3. I can't wait to do it with my truck ^-^
