After waiting over 4 years. I guess even 1 year could seem like "relatively quickly". But consider the source. If Elon comes on stage the 30th and says something like that I might start thinking about installing a charger at my house.

The lowest reservation is 112744100, so there are 226k possible RNs that start with "112".
17k 112 RNs are in the Reservation Tracker. Including mine.

I want to believe that a large fraction of the early committed buyers are in that 17k and not hundreds of thousands more.

How many early reservations are holding more than 1 as well?

I would guess that if someone held three 112xxxx1, 112xxxx3, 112xxxx3 that they would only get one of the three in a early round.

We are 112801___ or notionally #57k and factoring out other Teslas reserved on the 24 hour period We are around 50k +/-. Some will drop out due to cost, model, life events, etc. I am guessing we are realistically around 40k in line and I personally expect them to deliver ours before June except...

I also expect they will announce a future longer range version and we will not buy this one but will hold out instead for the XLR truck. All will be revealed on Thursday. Or maybe not.

“Relatively quickly” is very subjective.

I formerly worked for a defense contractor, and once heard two government workers arguing over the meaning of the word “immediately”.

One was of the opinion that for a contract of 10 year duration, “immediately” could mean six months ?

I have a Tri reservation and it is RN113

that said, it was initially a Dual Motor res, and I switched it to Tri a few months after... I ordered mine in April of 2020
