Yeah, not sure about this - aesthetically. It’s a personal taste, but these look worse to me.

Also not clear these tires are available in the appropriate load/speed ratings?

Do they mention if this truck is an AWD or a Beast?

EDIT AFTER WATCHING 20sec:

he says they’re load-matched - speed?

He fails to mention that the aero covers will no longer fit

between that and the unknowns of the tire effects, real range YOLO behavior! 🤣

over at the Lightning forum, some early buyers began modifying their trucks like they were used to doing with ICE trucks

cut to several month later, people real quick wisened up that Willy-Nilly mods add up in a hurry to material range effects

same coming to CT in 3…2…1…

I thought I was going to do something like this with after market wheels. I have come to like the aero covers that are on the foundation series trucks. I just need to get the email to design my CT. Waiting patiently here in Indiana. RN 1129

At least they made sure to say that the OEM tires will fit on the rims, but that's less profit for them.

Luckily this company specifically has been making ev accessories for years and "probably" takes that into account. Plus, if you have the money to have a CT already then you likely have the money for the range extender in the future and if you're doing these mods, then you're likely not towing much and you don't need crazy range

Yea that doesn’t look right. I can’t tell if it’s because the wheels+tire combo look to small or what; It just looks less tough.

For the record I don’t mind aftermarket wheels and have them on the plaid, but the CT, to be done right is going to have to have a very specific type of wheel to look good.

Anyone know... What's the offset and backspace on these or the OEM wheels? I also would like to know the weight of the CT wheels without the tire.

I still want to go with Fuel wheels, either the Assault, Blitz, or Cyclones.

The reality is that anything you do to the exterior of the CT will have a negative impact in some way. I have to admit that the aerocovers have grown on me. But, the Tesla OEM wheels underneath the covers look pretty lame.
