That range gives me great hope for the Cybertruck now! I bet the price of the Ram will be insanely high.

It drives me crazy that so many companies play on your sense of nostalgia by showing amazingly cool old trucks and then make something that looks like a modern, terrible truck. See: scout, F100, this, etc.

Do you know why they put badges all over the trucks?

it's the only way to tell them apart 😀

The one thing I would like to know is how long is it going to take to recharge after you have driven 500 miles?

Don't forget about battery voltage arch and max kW charging limit.

How long does a ...
Model X with 333 mi range with a max of 250 kW @ 400v?
vs
RAM1500 with 500 mi range with a max 350 kW @ 800v

Tesla Cybertruck Ram 1500 REV - 350 mi (168 kWh) & 500 mi (229 kWh) P1z1KR0

I love how it's a go to argument against Tesla, but Ford TOTALLY HAS IT FIGURED OUT GUYS!

I am a lifelong MoPar guy. I have a lot of Dodge Trucks and currently own one. I was excited over the prototype. Then the ACTUAL release is just an ICE vehicle that was revamped as electric.
and its FUGLY! Looks no better than The Ford Lightning or Lordstown. Even the Rivian looks like Kirbee from the Mario game franchise.
I feel like I got catfished and rickrolled in the same stroke.
People say that the CT is ugly. I dont think so. Its different. At least it has the balls to be differernt and to truly pursue a true Ev Truck under its individual merit.

CT should be 200kWh, 2.5 miles/kWh is definitely doable given its shape. The freeway mileage would be higher, F150L is 2.4, so 2.5 is not far away.

Also, interestingly, Model X weight is 5500lb, F150L is 6500lb, which is not much higher. Maybe Tesla could bring some magic to achieve 500 miles with 190 kWh battery?
