If that's true at Tesla too, then presumably reported tape marks on delivery reflect accidental breakages on the premises but post-line. There must be some incidence of that - in your experience is it common?
When you assemble a vehicle outside of the regular production line, it is not uncommon for breakage from handling issues, tool slippage, improper install angle, etc. Consider also that the glass openings in the prototypes may not be consistent and/or free from burrs and high-spots that could stress the glass. I wouldn't be too concerned about this, as it seems to be normal startup issues/events. These things help to dial-in the production line processes.

I couldn't care less about stowing a golf bag in the frunk. Now if it could hold a spare tire...
I was hoping for spare tire storage somewhere other than the vault but frunk and the rear undercarriage are both already taken. The last place I can see a spare/donut going is under the bed floor, accessed from the in bed storage compartment. This would be similar to the ridgeline.

I spoke to an tesla tech last week and they are guessing no spare will be used or maybe a small donut in the in bed storage compartment.

Ford Mega Frunk design iterations picture. They went with the waterfall based on customer feedback (ie. no front tailgate dropdown). Others followed suite/copied ;)

Hopefully Tesla copies the power frunk feature like several other companies have incorporated to make the frunk more frequently used (think loaded arm/arms). Many have said once they got the 3rd party Tesla frunk opener installed they used the frunk a lot more (think phone access required).

Giant-ass dashboard, giant-ass windshield, giant-ass wiper. Small-ass hood (compared to other trucks), small-ass frunk (compared to other EV trucks). I wonder how big the glove box will be?

big enough for two sets of golf clubs . . . in tour staff bags.

There's a lot of comments about golf bags, are there that many golfers?

Haha, I don’t know. Maybe it’s just a way of measuring the space? Can you imagine someone pulling up to a country club or something in a CyberTruck? I think duffle bags (for sports or camping) or grocery bags would be a better comparison for most people.

I want to see if they can fit a Milwaukee toolbox in the frunk, ideally, a pair of them side by side would be enough for most worksites.
That's my metric. 2 Milwaukee packout drawer units side by side.

How are you going to catch a man if you can't transport his golf clubs?

That could happen if a line robot went rogue after the windshield was installed. There is a crazy amount of programming and timing complexity to setting up an entire production line with the work-in-progress moving from station to station. All it takes is for the code to "break" at some point and then you might have robots running into cars until someone notices and is able to shut the line down.

I'm surprised manufacturing works at all these days considering how many people seem to be dropping the ball post COVID. My observation of multiple businesses and institutions (think everything from politics to manufacturing and supply chains to Air Traffic Controllers) is breaking down and not working very well. I'm not sure what is the root cause, but I imagine Tesla is not immune to this, even if they appear to be avoiding falling into that kind of lethargy.
