Wait... Even Ford's smallest truck, the Maverick, has more than a 4' wide bed. What trucks don't?

EDIT: The Maverick is only 4' wide for plywood above the wheel wells but they use a dual-position Tailgate to limit the difficulty of carrying sheets of plywood.
Chevy S10, Jeep Gladiator (personal experience) - both inexcuseable as wheel wells could easily be that extra 2" needed with no issue. I've heard the same with other mid size trucks. Some sheet goods need to be laid flat to avoid damage, also a PITA to load 20+ sheets!

I hope the bed is 4' wide, the slanting side panels suggest not?

Problem with (most?) all mid size trucks, is being just under makes loading 4x8 sheets difficult, the CT being somewhere between mid and full size, I shall be hopeful
That picture sure makes it look like the side panels are slanted, and by quite a bit. But if you look closely, I think it is the way the light is casting upon the pocket for the rolling toneau cover which angles inwards under the glass. I think the side panels are still about a right angle to the bed.

Do they still stare at your car while driving by? And end up off the road because they were no longer watching where they were going? At the beginning, that happens. It dies down from there.
Haha, not so much now, but I still get some funny videos of people looking at our Model Y (and there are a TON of them in town).

totally weird setup, because yes if i were to sign out i could see her posts

but logged in, not only do i not see her posts, I can't see that someone is responding/quoting one of her posts - it instead shows up as though the responding person is simply making a fresh post

At least you'll see that a censored comment exists instead of wondering what the hell everyone is talking about lol

I think that's dirt, specifically, lack thereof in tiny spots.

Makes sense. Someone gets on your nerves, you block them. If, they see your post, they say some crap about it you can’t defend because you can not see it. It is better for them not to see it to begin with to reduce friction.
Not really. While it stops specific harassment... it doesn't stop people from making baseless attacks.

And it breaks functionality, like if an abuser blocks you, you can no longer report their abusive posts as they send third parties to attack you.

And moderators need to be able to pierce the veil so that abusers can't just block them and abuse communities.

Moderation is super-complex.

Overall, threads that I have been reading on this forum have been fairly good and not in need of drastic measures compare to some other forums.
Trust me, the administrator is stern when they have to be. I know others have been ejected from the forum, so I do my best to behave. I've had my share of warnings and even was kicked off the forum for a month.

There's also another level of removed content. For instance, I cannot see or interact with cvalue's threads. At all. They sometimes show up on searches and I get a splash page denying that it exists at all. And while I can't unmute others, I cannot even see cvalue to unmute them.

PS, pretty sure the flat area will be 4' or more wide. It was more in the OG, and part of the target F150 they're trying to beat.

you and your facts
Most of the time it seems we live in a post-fact world. Every once in a while though, facts show their ugly heads.

Strange, the link above should display everyone you've set to "ignore", and give you the choice to "unignore".

But IDK what happens if two people set each other to "ignore" lol

The bed looks far more finished than any previous truck since the prototype. Betas just looked like cheap plastic was shaped around the 4WS. This one has clean lines, much better.

But you can still see the post if you're not logged in, so doesn't really help. I often change browsers depending on the device I'm on so I am not always signed in. Would make no difference then.

But in saying that, a lot of rubbish is presented here from one bias or another, and having it "unblocked" helps filter it by people countering it. Nobody "likes" a "negative feedback loop", but more often than not everyone needs one at some point.

"Letting dogs lie" isn't productive either so you need a balance there, otherwise everyone can go off in their own dream world and keep on spewing nonsense. Also other forum participants should stick up for they think is right too. But trolls, even those that don't know that they are one, are real too, so it's often hard to find a balance.

Maybe we need a "community notes" ? ;)
I blocked the guy that posts a novel of non sequiturs because it was just too hard to read everything he posted. There's also a peace of mind side of things sometimes.

Is that why I try to load some pages and it says they won't load? Interesting. Perhaps I've been blocked as well lol

If they ignore eachother we then have to interact with them instead...dunno which is better. :p

I've never blocked anyone, even though I know how desperately wrong "their facts" are.
